+++ Delivery update Mai 2022 +++
Today we receive the news from Bafang that despite advance notice to the contrary, our urgently awaited air freight delivery is still not shipped, because of the lack of staff at the airports due to the tightened lockdown.
All open orders of UNI MK and UNI Swing e-bikes are therefore still delayed and can only be assembled after the arrival of these components. However, they are already in assembly.
We can alternatively offer the new STX drive combination with rail battery and PAS sensor on request. We will be happy to advise you individually! UDX-Bikes UNI STX-Bikes and UNI-Boost can be delivered within 4-6 weeks.
Also we would like to turn the world upside down, we can't.
+++ Delivery update April 2022 +++ Lockdown Shanghai +++
Due to the lockdown in Shanghai, the delivery of the Bafang controller units is currently delayed by about 3-5 weeks.
This affects all UNI MK and UNI Swing bikes ordered from March onwards. These bikes are already pre-assembled and will be shipped as soon as we receive the outstanding delivery.
UNI Boost and UDX bikes are still available within 4 weeks.
+++ UD - Climate Neutral in 2022 +++
Urban Drivestyle is officially climate neutral according to the Leaders for Climate Action @LFCA standards.
Not only do we want to contribute to climate protection through our mobility concepts, but our concept is 100% sustainability: Through production in Germany, the avoidance of plastic and packaging material and now the participation in the @LFCA.

+++ Delivery update March 2022 - we have never been faster +++
Switching our supply chain to almost exclusively European companies is paying off again this spring. We are able to deliver in full and in short time!
All UNI MK and UDX models can be assembled and shipped within 4 weeks, depending on customer requirements. Also the new UNI Swing frames are only completed and the pending orders of all UNI Swing wheels will be shipped within the next 5 weeks. UNI Swing new orders and UNI Boost scooters have a delivery time of about 6 weeks.
All incoming new orders will be delivered with our standard Knobby Tires again.
+++ New Showroom Opening Berlin +++
We have expanded: Our showroom in Berlin is now twice as big and even offers an indoor driving track. Besides all UD BiIkes you can also find e-bikes and scooters from other manufacturers like Metz Moover, and a large selection of bike accessories like Thousand or Ruroc helmets.
Come by, try your favorite bike and let us advise you. For children there is foosball and a children's play corner.
+++ All UD bikes will come with exclusive premium tires +++
The UD Signature Chicane tyres from renowned tyre manufacturer Vee-TireCo.
Inspired by the typical Classic Car tyre pattern they have a semi-slick moped tread and thus offer optimum grip on urban surfaces. They are also equipped with extra puncture protection and the exclusive Urban Drivestyle branding makes the 20x4 inch VeeTireCo. Chicane tyre the exclusive UD signature casing for all 204 fatbikes. As our vintage backlight is out of stock all bikes will meanwhile be delivered with the µ [my:] Busch + Müller Backlight.
Delivery update 6.10. +++ Delivery to UK enabled +++ Fast delivery for all bikes and scooters +++
We have well compensated the delivery bottlenecks in the bike area by our European supply chain. The delivery times for new orders are 4 to 6 weeks, all open orders will be delivered in the next 2-3 weeks.
We also found a partner for UK delivery and take care of all custom and duty issues. Shipping to UK is possible again!
+++ New frame production in cooperation with Stechert Gmbh++
As of now, the new, optimized chromoly steel frames of the Urban Drivestyle e-bikes come from Stechert in Trautskirchen. The renowned brand, known for metalworking "Made in Germany" since 1950, takes the quality of the frames to a new level through automated welding with robots.
+++ Increase of projduction capacity +++ Delivery update 15.07.: MK motorcycle lamps and pedal cranks +++ Delays in customer support ++++
Since June 11th the UD Headquaters are located in the old Herlitz factory in Berlin, Niederschöneweide. The production capacity could be massively increased there.
Despite the new production capacity, there are currently delays of up to 4 weeks for the motorcycle lamps, which are used as standard lighting on the UNI MK and Swing. Alternatively, the bikes can be supplied with the Trelock LS 780 AIRFLOW 100 Lux or the 6.5-inch motorcycle headlight with grille. The standard lamp is expected to be available again from the third week of August.
At the moment there is also a delay in customer support due to illness. We apologize for this.
+++ SHIPPING UPDATE 25.05. - HYDRAULIC BRAKES +++
The pending delivery of the hydraulic brakes is delayed due to the still ongoing supply bottlenecks. A first delivery is expected to arrive in Berlin in mid-June. From then on, we expect smaller deliveries from different suppliers every 14 days. By acting flexible, we can ensure the regular delivery of hydraulic brakes from the end of June until the end of the year for the entire production. The delivery time of outstanding bike orders will be delayed by another 14 to 21 days.
We have sufficient stock of high quality mechanical brakes as well as some sets of premium Hope hydraulic brakes. Bikes with these brakes can be delivered within a few days and can of course be retrofitted at any time later. +++ UD INSIDER 25.05. - MOVE UD HEADQUARTERS AND PRODUCTION+++
Finally the time has come: From June 7th to 11th the UD headquarters will move to a great new location, the old Herlitz factory in Berlin, Niederschöneweide. The service team and the sales department will be available for you at any time during this period. However, on-site pick-ups and appointments cannot take place during this period and production will be interrupted for a short time.The new location has a size of 3500 sqm and offers enough space to increase the production depth, storage capacities and development frequency. For example, an own powder coating facility is planned in order to be able to deliver individual coatings faster in the future. Furthermore, the location is being actively developed as an e-mobility hub in order to establish a new e-mobility location here with partners. +++ Shipping Update 3rd of May – Headtubes, MK suspension forks, tires and mechanical brakes +++
As you've certainly noticed, there still are supply chain bottlenecks on the bike component market in 2021. We have been able to solve most of these issues, which is why we are able to deliver throughout! Nevertheless, some parts are still incoming:
We solved the shortage of 20x4 tires and have all tires back in stock.
All bikes with MK suspension forks have recently experienced delivery delays due to the blocade of the Suez Canal. From week 19 however, all outstanding orders with suspension forks will be manufactured with priority and delivered until probably mid-May.
Headtubes from our Berlin suppler are in delay and will arrive by the end of this week
Hydraulic brakes will arrive in mid / late May in Berlin. We deliver meanwhile on request either with high-quality mechanical disc brakes or for an additional charge with high-end Hope Tech brakes!
